We are having conversations with Medicaid about billing for Day Rehab since we are using telehealth during this emergency. Hitting the 3 hours via telehealth is challenging and we had hoped they would be willing to let us bill using half day rate or 15 minute increments after a certain amount of time. We are told CMS regulations/service definitions will not allow that.
Looking for how other states are managing Day Rehab services right now. We also believe going forward after the emergency that Day Rehab is at a point where the traditional model has outlived it's effectiveness and looking for innovative ideas about new models.
