    Hello Association Executives,

Wanted to put on your radar – the Alliance for Connected Care has pulled together resources on "Regional Medical Excellence Zones" as a potential solution to states to help address issues of cross-state licensure in providing telehealth.

There are a range of implications for our providers regarding changes to state licensure restrictions, and we wanted to make sure you were aware of the conversations taking place.

One of their recommendations is for an interstate compact to create a "medical excellence zone", for which they have provided model language. Under such agreement, providers within a group of states could provide services via telehealth, but could not establish physical practices in other states.

Let us know if you have questions, or if you would like to discuss on an upcoming AE Tuesday call.

    Thank you,

    Frankie
