Dear Association Executives,
The FCC has opened its second phase of their COVID-19 Telehealth Program with an additional $250 mil available to eligible providers including community mental health and substance use organizations.
Organizations are strongly encouraged to apply for these grants that may be used to fund technology and equipment to bolster service delivery via telehealth in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
These funds are to be used to respond to the growing need of telehealth during the Public Health Emergency created by the pandemic. Subsequently, they also build a foundation of telehealth to better position behavioral health providers to meet the needs of strong crisis response in the community and perhaps can contribute the foundation needed for 988 implementation.

The Round 2 Application Filing Window will open at 12:00pm, ET, on Thursday, April 29, 2021 and will close at 12:00pm, ET, on Thursday, May 6, 2021. Round 1 applicants that were not funded will need to submit a new application. For additional information on Round 2, please refer to the Universal Service Administrative Company's website.
