Dear Public Policy Committee members – The National Council's Public Policy Committee is composed of all members of the National Council Board and the executives of member associations. The committee has a Chair and a Vice Chair which are elected by the committee in alternating years. The Vice Chair is a non-Board position. The term of current Vice Chair, Matt Brooks, is expiring this month. He is eligible for re-election but must be nominated and elected. Any other Committee member may self-nominate for the position of Vice Chair for a two-year term that starts on July 1, 2020.
Nominations are now being sought. If you want to be considered for Vice Chair, please complete and submit the attached nomination form electronically by COB, Wednesday, 6/17/20.
The election will occur through on-line voting during our Thursday, 6/18/20 Public Policy Committee meeting.
