    Thanks to Sara Howe for connecting us with Sarah Aghazadeh, a doctoral candidate in the Department of Communication at the University of Maryland, College Park. Sarah is conducting research to examine how mental health advocates reflect on their work in shaping understandings about mental illness. She is seeking interviews with people who have some type of communication and/or leadership role in an advocacy organization. Interview questions will focus on how advocates view advocacy and legitimacy in terms of mental health.

    Sarah Aghazadeh
    Sarah Aghazadeh is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Communication at the University of Maryland. She earned an interdisciplinary studies M.A. and a B.S. in public relations (minor in political science) from San José State University. Her graduate thesis assessed public diplomacy between the United States and Iran.
