In the rapidly evolving government response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are striving to capture your concerns and needs here, so that we may convey them to lawmakers and the Administration as they make decisions that will have a range of impacts on behavioral health service provision.
We have broadly categorized what we are hearing from you all as policy priorities and needs in the attached. Please consider this a living document that we will update and expand as we gather more information.
Please note: In this document you will find certain COVID-19 guidance from the federal government that is focused on and offers wide flexibility in Medicare. This type of guidance can signal to states that similar actions to reflect this flexibility in state Medicaid programs will likely be sanctioned by CMS as they adjust and respond to the national crisis.
Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have additional input or questions.
