    Dear Association Executives- Following up on the discussion during Friday's April Association Executives meeting, we are circulating a member survey for opioid treatment providers (OTPs) to learn more about their experiences with Medicare and Medicaid in the current regulatory environment to help inform future advocacy and support OTPs' work. The link to survey is here and will close on April 30th.

    Also, in follow up to previous updates on the final rule for 42 CFR Part 8  in regard to regulatory changes governing OTPs, SAMHSA and the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence (AATOD) have are hosting two webinars discussing these changes and implications. One webinar is focused on administrative areas, with presentation slide deck, and the other focused on clinical content. While the effective date for these regulations was April 2, 2024, the compliance date is later this year on October 2, 2024.
