  • 1.  Medicaid Billing for Peers - Help Requested

    Association Executive colleagues -

    What processes do you have in your state to ensure smooth transition for individuals as they leave hospitals and return to the community to prevent a revolving door.  Specifically, how do you use peers in billing Medicaid for the provided services?

    I appreciate all input on innovative programs and how to use Medicaid as a funder.

    In Maine, we are also trying to get reimbursement through Medicaid for Peer services as a stand alone. I would be interested to hear of any states that already have this in place and what it looks like.
