In Tennessee, we passed a bill that essentially extends the stated tort liability for contracted providers with our Dept. of Children's Service. See https://publications.tnsosfiles.com/acts/112/pub/pc0777.pdf

Subject: Liability insurance for providers
Hi, all.
As part of our preparation for the upcoming legislative session, we are looking for information or solutions other states have implemented regarding the rising rate of liability insurance for nonprofits. We have heard of cases of Connecticut nonprofits having had astronomical rate increases or being threatened to be dropped from their liability insurance due to the populations that they serve.
We're looking for any suggestions on how to address this issue legislatively or solutions that other states have used to address this issue to increase availability and affordability of liability insurance.
Thank you!
