    Dear Association Execs:

I wanted to share with all of you the publication released today by the Center for Health Care Strategies and the National Council examining sustainability strategies learned from prior federal programs that offered a temporary FMAP bump, with lessons for CCBHC implementation and sustainability.

We hope this will be a valuable resource both for CCBHC demonstration states preparing to one day transition off the enhanced federal Medicaid match as well as states seeking to implement the program outside the demo with no enhanced match.

We co-hosted a webinar on the paper today with CHCS, featuring the National Council's Joe Parks, MO Dept of BH Director Val Huhn, and KS Medicaid Director Sarah Fertig. You can take a look at the slides here. I believe a recording will soon be shared on the CHCS website as well – it makes for a good listen, as Directors Huhn and Fertig shared lots of advice for states to consider during the early implementation phase.

Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions!

    Best,

    Becca
