Dear Association Executives - Attached please find the draft language of the "Bipartisan Safer Communities Act" as it is being considered by the U.S. Senate.
We will have a summary of the legislation for you as soon as possible but we wanted you to see the language as soon as we received it. In particular, please see the first section of the proposed legislation on expanding the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) demonstration program "nationwide."
Please note that this legislation still needs to be voted on by the Senate and then will go to the House of Representatives. More to come but please let us know if you have questions.
