Dear Association Executives - Below please find information on a new set of learning sessions we are pulling together for National Council members. Please share this information with your members. Please let us know if you have any questions.

As the National Council for Behavioral Health works tirelessly to provide timely resources for our member agencies during the coronavirus, COVID-19 epidemic, we recognize that the magnitude of the pandemic impacts every behavioral health practice in the country.
In response, we are launching a series of learning sessions designed to foster peer engagement and help you respond to the surge in care demands that you now face. The sessions will include updates on recent regulatory and payment actions pertinent to the area, discussion of current areas of most pressing concern, exchange of ideas for intervention, early identification and discussion of new concerns rising or anticipated and collaborative support as we all deal with these challenges.
Our first learning session is launching this week and will focus on Self-care and Stress Management. Other learning sessions will include focus areas related to COVID-19:
- Finance and Operations
- Substance Use Disorder Services
- Child, Youth and Families
- Residential Treatment Services
- Telehealth and Telemedicine
How will it work? Your questions and most pressing needs will guide each session, which will be facilitated by expert staff from the National Council and Center of Excellence for Integrated Health Solutions. We hope to use these sessions to share best practices and strategies you have found successful in addressing COVID-19 across states and communities.
Register for the first session, Self-care and Stress Management, on Thursday, March 26 from 3-4 p.m. ET.
Interested in participating? The National Council will share frequent updates as we confirm future session dates.
Unable to attend? All sessions will be recorded and shared with all those who register to view at any time.
