Hi Neal,
I want to share with you a funding opportunity that you may be interested in sharing with your members, the FY 2020 Scholarships for Disadvantaged Students (SDS) program. In this year's cycle, special funding will be allocated to graduate programs in Behavioral and Mental Health.
Background: the SDS program increases the diversity of the health workforce by funding eligible academic institutions that are training health profession students. The institutions then make scholarships available to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have financial need.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, or would like to have a conversation about this funding opportunity. There will be two technical assistance webinars, which you can find more information about in the announcement below. Feel free to share the announcement with your members.
I appreciate your help sharing this opportunity, and look forward to working with you!
Cheers,
Lissa
