    Dear Association Executives,

    In light of rapidly changing state and federal guidelines surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus), we hope you can join us Tuesday, March 17 at 1:30 PM ET for the March Association Executives monthly teleconference. With the global spread of coronavirus, we fully understand your priority and concern to focus on employee and operational safety measures. We plan to discuss the public policy implications arising from the pandemic and how we are working to support you, in addition to public health guidance and clinical support during these uncertain times.

    Please see attached declaration from Georgia's Governor on Saturday, March 14th...citing especially what we are currently discussion on our AE call. Click HERE to view the executive order in it's entirety.


    • The Georgia Board of Nursing is authorized to grant temporary licenses to nurses who apply for a temporary license and ae currently licensed in good standing as an APRN, LPC, or RPN by an equivalent board in another state to assist with the needs of this public health emergency.
    • The Georgia Composite Medical Board is authorized to grant temporary licenses to physicians who apply for a temporary medical license and are currently licensed as a physician in good standing by equivalent boards in other states to assist with the needs of this public health emergency.
