TAMHO prepared the attached position paper recommending that telehealth be allowed to continue as an option, as one of the tools in the toolbox. This paper has been shared with our Medicaid and State partners. The MCOs in TN - Amerigroup, BlueCross and United - have extended approval for telehealth through the latter part of this month. Since our Governor has now extended the state of emergency through August, it is likely that the approval for telehealth will be extended to be consistent with that time frame.
