Thank you, Doyle. I am generally quiet in the meetings, but I participate as frequently as I can and have found them very valuable.
Best wishes to you and all for the holidays...and let's hope 2022 will be better than the last few.

Subject: Happy Holidays and Next Steps with AE Committee Meetings in 2022
Dear Association Executives,
As we wind down 2021, I want to take a moment to reflect on the great work we do individually and collectively to serve our communities. I am grateful for all of you and the time we have spent together over the last year. Many of you recall when we were having weekly calls of this group, and I know for me it was really helpful to hear from you all and jointly problem solve and share important information. Though we reduced the frequency of these meetings, we continue to hear from all of you how much you appreciate our time together. Starting in early 2022 we will get on track with regular meetings again. We will start with an AE meeting on Jan. 11th, and at that meeting we can reassess the frequency of this meeting moving into the new year. I am sensitive to the fact we are all going into legislative sessions and we have a very busy few months ahead. Despite the obligations that pull us in many directions, you all are part of what keeps me on track, motivated and moving forward when times are tough. When I am with all of you, I know I am not alone fighting the good fight. Thank you for participating in our meetings, and all of your hard work each day.
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday break, and I look forward to seeing you all early next year!
