Dear Association Executives - Thank you very much for all you did to help get responses to our recent request for information in conjunction with the HHS Provider Relief Fund. We take our members' security seriously, and so I want to update you on how this information was shared with HHS.
The information collected on our secure site was compiled into a single file on a secured and password-protected location. That file was then delivered to HHS yesterday at 5pm eastern using a confidential, encrypted communication provided by Microsoft that can only be accessed by the authenticated recipient at HHS. The National Council will retain the information provided to us through June 30 as a backup in case there were any problems with the data file transmitted to HHS, and we will permanently delete all the information from our system at that point.
While we cannot guarantee that this effort will bear fruit, we are hopeful that HHS will be able to use this information to expedite relief payments to Medicaid behavioral health providers. We will keep you updated as soon as we know more.
