The National Council for Behavioral Health has launched a new initiative in collaboration with the CDC seeking to address youth substance use prevention for young people ages 12 - 18 years. To better understand and capture the impact of COVID-19 on availability and access to youth substance use prevention and treatment services, youth engagement and real and perceived barriers to care, we are asking youth-serving providers (like you!) from community behavioral health organizations, primary care, public health, and community-based organizations who do work in substance use prevention and/or treatment to complete this short 15-minute survey. The information from this survey will help to inform the development of tools and resources for effective messaging, engagement, and prevention efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, recovery, and in preparation for future disasters. The survey is open until Wednesday, February 10th and all who complete it can enter a raffle for the opportunity to win one of five $100 Amazon gift cards!
Questions? Feel free to reach out to me or Stephanie Swanson (StephanieS@thenationalcouncil.org).
Thank you for your time and support in addressing and preventing youth substance use!
Best,
Sam
