    We are working on our Policies and Procedures manual as well as looking at our mission and vision statements. I am interested in what any of you may have in the way of language dealing with diversity. We had a recent issue that identified we have some work to do in the area of cultural and racial sensitivity and understanding.

    Annette - Thanks for this terrific post.  My colleague Mohini Venkatesh, National Council Vice President for Business and Strategy, found a helpful free resource from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) with tools and examples for associations to help enhance their diversity and inclusion. The case they make could be a good way for you and other associations to start the conversation with your staff, board, and stakeholders).     They also have an Association Inclusion Index, which may also be helpful, but which costs $325 for ASAE non-members.
