    Hi All,

CCAPP, in coordination with Shatterproof, CSAM, and CCCBHA, has produced a white paper on the impact of COVID-19 on the SUD the treatment and recovery systems and a strategy document for possible ways to prepare for an expected influx of cases due to the pandemic. Please feel free to share this information. They include direct recommendations for strengthening recovery residence capacity.

CCAPP's 20,000 individual counselors and 500 programs and recovery residences provide substance use disorder (SUD) treatment services in the majority of DHCS licensed and/or certified sites throughout the state.  CCAPP also constitutes the largest infrastructure of the state's publicly funded substance use disorder treatment network and we are the state affiliate for Faces and Voices of Addiction which represents people with addiction throughout the country. As such, we are dedicated to ending the despicable practice of patient brokering in the addiction treatment system.
