    Dear Association Executives - The deadline to submit applications for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) Phase 4 Provider Relief/American Rescue Plan funding is Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

    The Administration has allocated $25.5 billion in additional available funding, including $8.5 billion of American Rescue Plan (ARP) payments for providers/organizations who serve rural Medicaid, Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and/or Medicare beneficiaries.

    • PRF Phase 4 is open to a broad range of providers/organizations who have experienced changes in operating revenues and expenses.
    • ARP Rural is open to providers/organizations who serve rural beneficiaries covered by Medicaid, CHIP, and/or Medicare.

    Additionally, eligible providers can receive both PRF Phase 4 and ARP Rural payments if providers served patients or operate in a rural area. To read the definition of rural, click here. Only one application needs to be submitted if applying for both payments.

    TO APPLY, ORGANIZATION/PROVIDERS NEED TO:

    Note: Organizations/Providers will need to submit a new application, even if they previously submitted revenue details for a prior PRF distribution.
