Has anyone had any issues with SSAs, Medicaid, ACOs, or MCOs refusing to pay for online group therapy? Have you been able to argue to reverse this policy? If so, what arguments did you use that were the most convincing.

We had success by pointing out that many of our clients are court ordered for these services, and with the public health emergency this is the only way to continue treatment safely, complying with stay at home orders.
We have active accountable care organizations that we work with for our Medicaid contract, and they listened to our concerns and approved services by phone and online. We're located in a rural/frontier part of Colorado, so internet is spotty for many of our clients.
