    Dear Members,

Last week, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced two actions that eligible providers can take to potentially receive additional funding.

    1. Provider Relief Fund/General Distribution Portal

IMPORTANT: Providers Must Act by Wednesday, June 3

Eligible healthcare providers have until June 3, 2020 to submit their revenue information and accept all terms and conditions to receive payment from the second tranche of the Provider Relief Fund's $50 billion general distribution.

If your organization received a Provider Relief Fund payment from HHS before April 24, 2020, and you wish to keep those funds, you need to submit to HHS via the General Distribution Portal your tax forms or financial statements and agree to the program's term and conditions.

Important to note: HHS is stating these actions must be taken by June 3, 2020 in order to be considered for future access to Provider Relief Fund payments. This action is the de facto application to access the second round of Provider Relief Funds if your organization has not yet receive a second payment based on total revenue (after April 24,2020), and for future funding via this stream.

For more information, please see the General Distribution Portal section of the HHS Provider Relief Fund website.

    2. HRSA COVID Uninsured Program Portal Open

HHS has recently announced the opening of the HRSA COVID Uninsured Program Portal.

If you are a healthcare provider who treated an uninsured patient for COVID-19 after February 4, 2020, you can apply to HHS reimbursement for that care. The care will be reimbursed at Medicare rates.

For more information, please see this notice from HRSA, the program website, and this FAQ from HRSA.
