Our agency is applying for CCBHC certification.  We are trying to decide on a uniform term to refer to our clients that is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive and inclusive.  Of course there are the general ones we have discussed including; client, customer, individual, patient, etc.  Do any of you have alternative suggestions?

    Hi.

I'm a big fan of "participant."  I think it's non-stigmatizing and represents action.

We use "Participant" as well for the same reasons.
